We officially have dates for Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. The happy haunts will materialize in Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure from September 2 - October 31 2022. In Disney’s California Adventure at the Plaza de la Familia a special celebration of Pixar’s Coco will take place from September 2 - November 2.
At Disneyland you can expect to see characters dressed for the “Howl-iday” like Minnie and Mickey as well as Jack Skellington and Sally, too. As always, the Haunted Mansion will be decked out for the Hallow-days brought to you by the frightfully festive Nightmare Before Christmas. Halloween Screams, the spooktacular fireworks show, will return as well as Main Street’s gigantic Mickey Pumpkin.
Disney’s California Adventure will bring spooky chills of costumed cars in Radiator Springs, a special Monsters After Dark themed Guardians of the Galaxy ride, Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree! Don’t forget to check out the devilishly frightful delights throughout the park!
The special Musical Celebration of Coco at the Plaza de la Familia is sure to be a wonderful experience. According to Disneyland’s website:
During A Musical Celebration of Coco, enjoy a heartwarming tale by the entertaining Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia that celebrates popular songs from the film Coco, including "Remember Me," the Oscar®-winning Best Original Song.
In between performances of A Musical Celebration of Coco, you can meet and create special memories by taking a photo with the film’s main character Miguel. Then stroll over to the iconic Mexican Árbol de la Vida (Tree of Life) and post personal messages to your loved ones on the Memory Wall.
I’m not crazy for this holiday so with the news of Halloween coming so soon, it means that I’m one step closer to all this Christmas which should begin around November 4th! Good news for the holly jolly Christmas lovers!
